Local council , have decided to change its name to Staines-Upon-Thames.

I'm sure that will make it better, init?

Yeh but yeh but, same fing fer SLOUGH ON THAMES

Slough has everything for the terminally depressed.

"on Thames" was thought it would give it a more up market image & attract the more affluent from the subcontinent & those illegal imigrants with aspirations to share a bedroom with a nicer class of drug addicts.

Only problem is no one has noticed there is a mile or two of farmland & Eaton between the Thames & Slough.
