best way to connect HDX to Klimax Kontrol

I would be grateful for advice here. The naim manual recommends DIN when connecting the HDX to naim gear. The KK1 offers cinch or XLR. So far I have been using a DIN to cinch-cable provided by the dealer when purchasing the HDX. Since left and right inputs are too far apart on the KK (and due to different setup in my rack), I can't use it anymore. I suppose one can only profit from XLR or DIN when both ends are the same. So I guess it is simply cinch. Has anyone maybe noticed differences between DIN and cinch output?
