Just curious if anybody has tried a Zyxel nsa310 with a naim uniti or unitiqute? Seems quite good for the money, 1.2ghz CPU and 256mb
Cheers

Agreed that is why I use a Vortexbox

I'd tend to agree too. But the original question does raise an interesting point. What is a good price point and why?
Reliability? Surely that overall depends on the hard disk if the software is compatible.
Sound? Does that not depend on the streamer you are using?
Ideally you might say buy a UnitiServe. But at £2,000+ compared to £1,300 for the Qute does that make sense?
Is a VortexBox better than the ZyxelNas? It has a larger installed user base and so that probably gives reassurance but in terms of the basics: a HD, software - after that all is handled by the hub and streamer.
So what does the Vortex Box add? Probably reliability and the reassurance.
I'm not disagreeing with your point. Just throwing it open there.
I'd have a guess that if I bought a Zyxel and a Vortexbox and had both working there would be no difference in the sound quality.
