320 bit rate... Which for a streaming service on demand is pretty good right? Anyone know of other high end or higher quality streaming services....  And it's fair to say pandora does not count.... Thanks for the help!

I think the quality of the service may vary by where you are located.   I tried Spotify "Premium" in the US for a while, but soon found that their promise of "up to 320kbps" applied only to a portion of their MP3 files.  Seemed like at least half of the time I was streaming much more highly compressed files.  Also, their iPad app was nothing more than a scaled up iPod app, so I canceled my subscription and went back to Rhapsody.

Rhapsody seems to be more consistently at 320kbps, but has the same issue with regards to the iPad.  As a result, I've simply been using their web version via Safari, and streaming to my Naim setup via Airplay to an Airport Express (connected with an optical cable to my Naim DAC).  It works...ok...just.

Now I see that last month Spotify finally introduced a real iPad app, so I plan to check it out again.  Just remembered my other disappointment with Spotify was the lack of new music discovery tools.  It is fine if you know exactly who you are looking for, but offered no suggestions for related music, other things to try, and so on.   Hopefully this is the next area that they improve upon.   Until they do, I'll probably stick with Rhapsody's web version (and despite it forces me to zoom and scroll to really see what I'm doing).

HTH.  Good luck!

I really like MOG - mostly listen in the car, you can download quite a bit of music, and streaming usually works over cell network, or in the kitchen and especially to check out new releases before I buy.

Don't think that there's any that are higher bit rate yet. Have you tried B&W Society of Sound? Not exactly streaming, but you get 2 high res albums a month (I think) for the subscription.

Wait a few years and it will come along.
