How do you convert 5.1 24bit 96kHz to stereo 24bit 96kHz

Hi all,

I am trying to do the above but cannot find the right program as I do not want it to become compressed MP3!

Can anyone help?

dBPoweramp, but I find a conversion from 5.1 to 2 channel always a degredation to an original 2-channel recording. I doubt a perfect conversion matrix exists.

Thanks for that, Aleg... I tried dbPoweramp and it only converts to different formats or compression levels. Am I being really dizzy, or does it actually blend 5.1 to 2 channel stereo? Cheers! Jon
