With the greatest of respect I suggest you do a bit of research because your question does not make a lot of sense.

The nstream app for iPad uses my wireless network to talk to the NDS....

there is no direct IPAD to NDS independent connectivity... to my knowledge...

currently using an apple airport express to connect and stream to a ndac and the range is less than desirable...  hence my mistaken post

 

The range of an recent extreme should be good.

You really want the nds hard wired though, so the only issue is then of the ipad range to extreme.

Of course i have no idea if you live in a mansion, assuming you don't getting the extreme up high can help in that the signal usually passes through wood (floorboard etc) rather than brick/stone (walls)
