ND5XS - Control

Following a very strange start with the ND5, took about 12 hours running before all feature and buttons started working ! I am very happy with the sound, it's starting already to compare to the run in Demo unit my dealer brought round for the demo. 
I'm running the unit via a windows PC with Assett - all is good via nStream on iPad But I have two questions
1. Is it correct that only one copy of nStream can connect at any time?
2. Is there any other ways to select tracks ? (except nStream&front panel). Thinking like web browser or another app that support android devices. (even if it means changing Software)
