Cannot find rips!

Hello HDX users. Would very much appreciate your assistance. Some time ago I made some mix cd's using a Tascam CD-RW900 recorder. I have ripped 2 cd's with no errors and the HDX has correctly seen them as having only 1 track. AMG lookup has read them as albums, for example, Melvin Strauss and Atlas Ecliptical Works as the name of the album. I would have expected the cd to be "unknown". When I go into recents using the ipad app the cd is not there or under artist, album or unknown. Any ideas?
