Jose Mourinho: David Beckham won you the games, then you went and dumped him!

I didn't dump him .. Pearce did (same person who missed a crucial penalty against Argentina) ... however, we went about as far as we could with the team he picked and the tactics (or lack thereof) he employed .... good luck to South Korea who thoroughly deserved their victory. 

Should have had Sir Alex as manager if we wanted to win it. 

He's definitely got two feet (there is a recent photo of him on the Internet and I counted them twice to make sure), Frank .... I think it would have been great to see him play; whether it would have made a difference who can say. The football in the Olympics was the one sport that didn't matter that much, as for the most part the players do not regard it with the prestige of the Premier League or even Championship; Women's Football is another matter. So given that I cannot understand why David wasn't in the squad as people wanted to see him. Mind you I don't understand how Stuart Pearce is manager.
