This is a very interesting article from WSJ! It shows that the Japanese electronic manufacturers have lost their markets to the Korean, and the Chinese ones - The electronic manufacturing capabilities in Europe and North American "virtually" do not exist, they were dead a long time ago. Apple, Google, Microsoft, IBM are predominantly software-based companies.
