Hey Tony, it was just fab being there and hearing a great sax player from the old
School. I had a table next to the stage so was aware of all the play between the
four musicians: sax, piano, bass and drums. and often I would watch the drummer
do his thing, or focus on the bass player.
At the interval, I bought two Scott Hamilton CDs and got his autograph with a bit
Of chat. Asked if he had one with 'Body and Soul' on it, 'Yeah, that would be this
one I recorded in 1987. A nice souvenir...
Give me four seasoned musicians in a jazz club anytime..!
