Max Bygraves RIP

Songwriter Max Bygraves passed away ... though probably not an artist many forum members would have listened to, but he was certainly one of the better artists to listen to when I was knee high to a grasshopper. My Grandmother used to listen to him a lot and there was a certain quaintness to his songs ... I know he didn't write the song below, but his is the definitive version

He always seemed a very likeable character even though he was more of my parents' generation than mine.

Still got a copy of 'You're a pink toothbrush'. He said he was pleased to record it and it sold 3 million. Not records, toothbrushes. Don't write songs like that anymore. Sigh.
