Roger Daltrey solo stuff

I was lucky to see Roger Daltrey playing live the other week, with his band No Plan B. Needless to say it was fantastic. He is even better at waving the mic than before!
As I have already got all The Who albums I was thinking of RD's solo albums which I haven't listened to at all.
Any of his earlier stuff worth getting, like "Daltrey" or "Ride a Rock Horse"? What do you recommend?
