Just heard of the passing of the Prof.

Someone who made a huge difference to F1, and other formula, without competing.

His contribution to the Senna film was very understated but very powerful.

The sport has lost a great man who loved it and the drivers.

So sad , the sport owes so much to this man.

How he was never Knighted is a mystery, not that he would have wanted that.

Some very moving tributes on Twitter.

One of the unsung heroes of F1.

Deserves more accolade than a lot of overpaid, over-hyped  so called " F1 drivers".

R.I.P.

I think there'll be a documentary at some point, and then we'll realise the full impact of his expertise and dedication. He had a great life. Good on him. Tony

A wonderful person and a great loss. I remember he always ran a charity golf tournament around the time of the British Grand Prix.
