Anybody know where to source a new quad beam Bedini Clarifier? My ran for about 10 seconds tonight; slowed down and died. Was getting much use too for the first time in a couple of years after I found a sensible position for it.

Ah well. Not even an insult for owning one
As it turned out the spindle had pushed down too far. Pulled it up slightly and we're back in business.

Hi Mike! I'd never heard of this device before. I came up with a lot of interesting opinions about it on the web. Glad it's working again.

They're as much use as a tape head demagnetiser.

Spoke too soon. It is working intermittently. Seems to be an issue with the motor spindle. Pull the plastic spindle up a bit and it seemed fine. Then it decides it isn't. Utterly bewildered now.
Fatcat - at least I had the decency to post it in Padded Cell
Hawk - your mileage may vary The product looks cheap and nasty and I'm being charitable if I describe the alleged science behind it as poor quality but, unlike many, i've done blind testing with it using myself and friends who disbelieved the idea of their being a difference. The placebo effect must not be under-estimated but the blind tests spoke for themselves. There was always some positive impact on every cd clarified. It wasn't predictable. Sometimes it was perceived loudness and sometimes greater clarity and openness. Sometimes more bass. Either way it won't be going in the bin until I know it's definitely dead.

Precisely the point I'm making.

It may be dead, but I doubt it will be difficult to repair.
I built one myself. The details are freely available on the internet. Used a PC cooling fan motor, salvaged copper wire and switch from a PC. The only items I bought where half a dozen magnets from ebay.

Ah but it's just not the same without that cheap plastic moulding is it

Found a replacement free of charge. I love the placebo effect.

Intentional pun?

Haha. Afraid not Svetty
A friend has a dual beam that he has long since ceased using so it's mine from Saturday. Will be a rather strange object to hand over at a football match!
