Arist appears as (null) in n-Stream

Has anyone else experienced a problem with some artists appearing in n-Stream as (null) in the 'artists' section? I've tried retagging the relevant files and sometimes this works, Others it makes no difference. It';s not just one disc by the artist affected but all of theirs. The albums appear correctly in the 'albums' section.

Also sometimes when n-Stream loads it loads several times resulting in everything being duplicated. The most times is 8!

My server is a Vortexbox Appliance and I'm using a Uniti 2

All I've ever had to do with my vortexbox is go to the web interface, select the DLNA symbol and then click rescan. That has always sorted out any problems with 'null' type responses or missing artwork
