Is anyone here into military modelling?

I'm not!

However, my father in-law passed away a few months ago, and amongst the house clearance stuff that I couldn't bear to throw away was a collection of almost untouched plastic kits.

They're almost all ground troops and vehicles from WWII, including oddities (to me) like a field workshop.

I'd really like anyone that's interested to want to build them rather than flog 'em on eBay etc.

Tony,

Sounds like you might have some good stuff there. Why not do a search on google et Al for specialist interest groups. I am sure they would be most appreciative

This would maybe honour his memory by keeping the stuff in the arena of peoplewith a real interest

I might well do. I just thought I'd seek any interest among my forums, starting here. I'll wait til tomorrow evening, then move the offer to another forum. Thanks for the idea Tony

Tony I understand this must be difficult as it's such a personal thing. I'm not into that scale as 1/6 is what I collect but there's a lot of cross pollination as you'd expect. Try these out. They're always happy to see new faces and give advice.

Good luck. Make sure they get a good home.

Tom.

Hehe. Slightly more attractive than me napping on a Canberra in about 1985. Look at the state of my overalls! Tony
