Help Requested with IRadio on SU

Posted by: Russ on 27 September 2012

Folks,

I now have Iradio working wirelessly with my Superuniti, using the Naim remote.  I can successfully play all of the stations listed undder "Naim's Favorites".  I have even been able to add two stations to my "added stations" list.  The URL I plug in is absolutely correct--copied and pasted while the stations are playing on my laptop.  I can use the Naim remote to scroll down to "Added Stations", find my station, and hit the "OK" button.  The display says "Connecting", then shortly afterward displays the message: "Can't Play Station Unavailable."  But I know it is available because I am listening to the same station, using the same exact URL on the laptop.  Does anyone have any information on what I might be doing wrong?

The Naim Knowledge Base says: "To add a station, follow the ‘My Added Stations’ link and add the information required. This will include the station name, URL, location and bitrate."

As I have said, I know the URL is correctly entered.  I am assuming there is nothing magic about getting the station name and location correct--isn't that just text?  Does the bit rate have to be entered correctly?  I don't even know how to find that, if it is.

Also, does anyone know how to delete a station from the "Added Stations" List?  I accidentally put King FM Evergreen in twice--not that either of them will play.

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually, please ignore this thread--moderator, if you would like to remove it that would be fine with me.  I just realized how many stations I can browse by genre/location/etc.  I am finding all the stations I need.  And I have the same question as to added stations in to naim.vtuner, so if they answer me, maybe I can figure it out.  But if I can't put everything I like into 40 presets, shame on me.

Thanks,

Russ
