Kinsky- Controling Uniti and Qute

I have found that I can control which music my Qute plays from my NAS quite nicely using the Windows version of Kinsky. I can also adjust the volume and use the mute control, but I can't make in play the radio stations.

I have not been so successful with my Uniti.  Kinsky sees my Uniti and the volume setting, but that is all. I have not been able to make the Uniti play anything. Might this be due to limitations in the Uniti's firmware?

What are the latest versions of the the Uniti and Qute firmwares? Has anything changed since last February?
