Music with Drums in the foreground

Any recommendations. Looking for music like

Cannibals by Mark Knopfler

Paul Simon's boy in the bubble, first song from the ..saints .. album

Something that is relatively easy to play along with...

Generally fun music to listen to, with drums in the foreground...

Also in the late 50s Googie Rene made a brilliant album called Romesville. Check out the cover:

One of the best cuts on it is Ceasar's Pad (a bit more bongo-ey than drum-y)

Super-high class cheese (although he was a bit of a mod fave, so I'm led to believe)

You've probably heard it already, but surely this is the greatest "record with the drums in the foreground" record ever: CLICK HERE

Herbie Hancock: Dis is da Drum

One of my favourite from the 90s.

Fun playing this LOUD on the Briks.

Wow, this is a great thread that interests me a lot. Basically my music listening preference with drums in foreground. I see myself buying more music from this thread.

Thumbs up, keep it rolling...

There's a Basia Bulat track that features a rollicking drum track, very much to the fore in the mix. I can't think of the name. Guido will know.
