Election Spending $5billion. Talking about Jingoism...
We are all involved one way or another, no matter where you live on the planet.
Do you really care?

Spread between 300 million people is less than $20 per person. $5 per year at current rates. Yes it is too much, but is hardly the biggest issue out there.
Yes, I care about the election outcome and US policies generally. They affect us all.
Not sure where your nums are from?

It's actually the lowest estimate:

In comparison with £31m in the 2010 UK election. Phew!

Not that I believe what anyone says...The least reliable would be Huffington... It makes the national inquirer legit. Never the less, It is a shit load of money wasted on a couple of goof balls. Though, I do know who I will vote for. I just wish the election would be here already. The amount of "in your face" election propaganda is overwhelming.

so that would be 50p per head with a c.60 million population.
Seem bloody good value if you can spend 50p and change the government......
Cheers

Hell no....
If that be true? We,as a nation, could fix the homeless, health care, and slow internet speed concerns all in one swoop.
