Beatles USB - any good? uServe/NDX compatible?

Anyone tried The Beatles' USB hi-res remaster? Just wondering if it sounds any good and also whether they've tied the Flac files to the USB stick with some kind of copy protection crap - i.e. am I free to pull them onto my uServe and play from there through the NDX?

They sound absolutely great especially the early albums. No problem with copy protection, I put them straight onto my NAS and have never played them from the USB. One thing to watch out for, there is no metadata included for Rubber Soul. I had to go and fetch this myself using mp3tag.

Thanks Ian, that's great and good to know! I understand people have had big issues playing the Queen USB set at all. It's a shame they can't just make the hi-res files available per album- I find it quite surprising record labels haven't been quicker to cash in on the move over to hi-res streaming audio and sell all their albums over again...

I was also wondering whether the Beatles USB Stick plays without issue when inserted into either the Unitiserve or the nDac. Does anybody here have experience of this ?
