Trouble in Paradise

Posted by: Paul Stephenson on 31 October 2012

Our friends at Radio Paradise are having broadcast issues due to the recent weather disaster in the USA.

We Know all is being done to get back on line as soon as possible, we wish all our friends over the pond a speedy recovery.

Indeed, a speedy recovery is just what is needed.

All the best to Naim people in America.

Thinking of you!

Good news, at least as far as RP is concerned, is that the 320kbps stream is back up and sounding as good as ever.

I may have spoken too soon.  I am experiencing some dropouts this afternoon on the 320kbps stream.  Not surprising considering the pressure the sections of the internet that are working around NY must be facing.

Elsa I think you may have missed the all in Paul's last sentence.

Once I got onto Paradise I really enjoyed it, once in a while drop on all radio. Last night big dropout problems but the east coast got slammed big time, can't imagine the engineering work going on.  It's new technology, one time they said with CD you'll never hear a scratchy record or a skip,  so what was the dadadadadadadah all about?  New technology misbehaving.

Come back Paradise, come back, I miss your wonderful music.

Radio Paradise has been working all evening for me (here from the east coast of the US).
