Serve app upgade?

Um, care to expand on that.

I believe the common view is that Naim are trying to move both products to a common ground, so there will be a single solution.

On this basis I am sure that the next release of serve will incorporate much of the stream functionality

What does the stream app do that serve app does not?

I only have userve and have not used the stream.

I think however that I have seen on the forum that there is reference to the stream giving a much greater metadata access, and it I think then allows you to have irect links to all the artists other catalogue nd other useful stuff ( I think)

It is the connection to the ROVI provide metadata that is missing from the serve app. Comes very close to the old school satisfaction of reading album notes etc, also provides more info on tracks eg what artist on a various artists album. Hopefully someone from Naim can give me some idea of a timeline to align both apps.
