USB Memorystick where??

I have ND5-XS and a UnitServe both conectded with cable via the same router.

Some times i use a USB memorystick and have till today used the input on the front of

ND5. Is there anything (theoretically) that would suggest if its better to put it in another way, for instance.... "yes its better to put in the......... because...."

On the Naim DAC I prefer the rear port, if there is one on the ND5 then worth a go ... otherwise what you are doing makes perfect sense ... loading the music directly in to where your ND5 can render it and your ND5's DAC can generate the analogue music ... sounds really sensible to me.

Agree with Guy, the rear port does sound better than the front on the NDAC if using a USB memory stick.
