Just listened to a couple of tracks, wonderful archive material. Wish I had been there.

Many thanks for that. Doing it now and not surprisingly it looks to be very popular.

Cheers.

Great. Thanks.

You should thank Analogue Loyalist for this remaster job. He also has the Warsaw remaster up as well on his own site for download.

This was originally posted on the Power of Indepnedant Trucking web site by Analogue Loyalist.

Job done on the remastering.

Sounds really good for what seems to be an ambient bootleg(?).

Good stuff.

Drew has also  done a sterling job on some great  early New Order recordings over the years - a lot of his work's available on Dime.

Can I second ewemon's recommendation for the AL Warsaw remaster?

Playing these files now... (WAV/USB/nDAC)

First thing I noticed they sound clean compared to the original vinyl copy I have (which is a bit noisy), however the pitch sounds slightly off (too fast) and the files are not as fat nor dynamic vs the vinyl.

 Still very listenable though!

The RZM (about 1980 I think) Warsaw LP is the best version of this boot but it is very hard to find a clean copy.

I believe Hooky now has the original tapes, having got them off Rob Gretton (who in turn bought them off RCA in '78) in the '90s.

Hello David,

I forgot to thank you for posting this. I played it the other night and was so happy! Good job by Analogue Loyalist. Took me back to my childhood days...ah, the good life.

Then reality sunk in as I looked at the clock, I had to go to sleep and go to work the next day.

I'll have to get the Warsaw remaster as well.

Kind regards,

Arun

HI Arun

Ian Curtis - What a talent that burnt so bright for such a short while.

Recording seems to place them in the room.

Does take me back as well.

Regards

David
