Anyone using Audirvana+ beta in Direct mode?

With some fuss, I got it to work on my MacBook.  It really sounds nice.  It is the best digital replay I have heard on my system.  

I am using it with iTunes 11.  They offer a free trial for two weeks.  I liked it well enough to buy a $49 license and abandon Pure Music, which I have used for a couple of years.

The released version of Audirvana + is a pretty polished product, but the Direct mode is only available in the beta version.  It does have glitches occasionally, requiring to exit and restart the application.  Once it caused a system panic, which I have never before seen in OSX.
