HDX as a server for Klimax DS

Short question - will this work. I've got a friend coming round to try out his new Klimax DS in my system. Can we use the HDX as a upnp(?) server? Or do we need some other arrangement?

Also, (just edited to add!), do the Linn PSs still bug**r up Naim kit? Should I run a long extension from somewhere else in the house for it?

I'm sure KDS can pick up any uPnP server, including HDX.

I also think that it's better to keep KDS on a different spur.

Why do you think that? Because of the switch mode power supply in the KDS?
