Using playlists

I am a new user of the Naim unitiserve and am in the process of ripping my CDs, which are almost all of classical music. In the case of multi CD operas I had assumed that putting all the albums into a playlist would mean the whole opera could be played through. However, while the albums have been loaded with tracks in the correct order, and looking at the Playlist on Nserve on my computer or ipad still shows them in the correct order, when I try playing the playlist using nstream the tracks seem to have been reordered into a useless alphabetical order. Am I doing something stupid (very likely) or is this a known problem?

No sure what ou ean about tracks loaded in correct order, but when viewing playlist you can use the edit button and then you can drag and drop the tracks in any order you wish and they will play in that order ( unless you choose the shuffle tracks option)

Yes, I appreciate that. The tracks are numbered and as an album on n stream they are in number order. However when adding the album to a playlist the numbers seem to have disappeared. Reordering the tracks is not as easy as all that because it would take some time to work out exactly where each track should be. First words in operatic arias etc are not helpful, so it would be a long job

Ok. What about the option of adding the tracks to playlist in the correct order ( rather than the full album) ?

Yes, but probably easier not to bother and just play each album
