Ron Cooper RIP

The very great framebuilder passed away last thursday after a short illness. One of a group of south london framebuilders, he had a shop in Honor Oak before moving out to Kent. Built a lot of frames for our american friends and was working with Paul Villiers in Gillingham until recently.

He built me a touring frame ( and bike!) in 1982 that has taken me many places and which it still going strong.

He will be sadly missed.
