2013 F1 Championship.

For the BBC viewers.
Suzi Perry is announced as the replacement for Jake Humphreys.
She is so much better looking.
All they need to do is get rid of Eddie J and I might even watch.
I watched it 'live' so to speak......G
There definitely is a spare seat at Ferrari next year, as Massa has confirmed he will not be racing for them.
Yep. The Finn is in! One year only contract but enough to make Alonso come down to earth and move his overpaid 4r5E!
Expecting much of that next year? Maybe that will get the viewing figures up?
F1 is quite exciting ATM, apart from position 1. Another imperious (read boring) SV race, a couple of silly accidents.
On the other side of the pond send good wishes to Dario Franchitti after a horrendous crash in Texas Indycar race. Fractured back and ankle. A few spectators injured by flying debris including some of the catch fencing, which in the main did it's job.
Well. That sounds like 22 races of absolute shi*e.
They will be making them get out and push for part of the race next.

And then this happens...
Funnily enough, people used to faint if their Lotus didn't need a push.
I've heard a rumour Pirelli are being kicked into touch, apparently a well known British confectionery manufacturer will supply the tyres next year. It's all down to the fact Bernie has won the worldwide marketing rights for Bertie Basset.
Hoping that Renault comment was incorrect. The tyre design this year has made a nonsense of meaningful competition - it's all about tyre management strategy rather than driver capability at the moment. Adding fuel management into the equation will not add to the spectacle nor to deciding who is the best driver.
I was left a bit incredulous at the last grand prix when Vettel managed to drive round the French guy to take the lead without a hint of a problem. Webber soon came up behind the same chap and took 4 or 5 laps to get past. Bearing in mind that Webber had just come out of the pits on the softer compound (for that read grippier and faster) tyres whilst Vettel was on the harder compound tyres, I was left to conclude that someone at Red Bull HQ either turned the power/ other trickery up on Vettel or down on Webber to ensure that Vettel secured victory. Just came across as a complete sham to me. Rapidly losing what little interest I had in this now.
Sadly the hit and miss BBC coverage has been a major turn off to add to my disinterest.

BBC coverage relies heavily on DC now. Who'd have thought that when it was MB running the show a few years back. Suzie Perry is terrible, even Eddie J looks like he's lost interest. I used to watch all the pre/post race coverage as well as the forum when it was MB, JH, & EJ but now it's only the race i watch - when we're lucky enough to have a full live one anyway. Jake H & Martin B jumped ship at the right time as it's a shadow of what it once was.
Yes. The BBC coverage is distinctly grey with the current line up. A tallent limited clique who are increasingly omitting to include the viewer in their jolly little outings.
Ferrari to Williams - Ouch!

Double points for the winner of the last race next year.
Keep fiddling Bernie (while Rome burns about you). How about making them stop at half distance and draw lots for the car they use in the second part? Or maybe make them race in Fancy Dress once a year.
Just imagine having the last match of the football season played for double points-you cannot can you.
The F1 circus gets more aptly named every year. It did not need these gimmicks in the past, or maybe I have rose tinted specs. Modern F1 gets further and further away from me. I wonder if it does for other previous watchers too.

Your points are well taken. They won't control costs, their tire policy is a joke, subsidized drivers are another joke, and now double points. Bernie won't always be around. When he's gone, there will be a crisis. It is possible to mess up a good thing. Open wheel racing did just that in the US in the mid-90's and to date has not recovered.
Fingers crossed, it's not looking good.
