It used to be we spent christmas with our families enjoying the festive season. Hopefully thats what the naim boys and girls are doing now instead of updating software .

I work in IT for a major Insurance Company and we have a mandatory change freeze at Christmas to ensure stability.

It's not good practice to release something just before an extended holiday period when people depend on reliability and there is a reduced support capability.

One for the New Year I think.

Good point, Garyi.

So will I...

I just read here that a "fabulous" update is planned for around this time...

I personally couldn“t care less...I was just asking a question.

Mac thingy announced a couple of days ago?

Which software?

The server 1.6g beta is testing now but there's no way that will be done and dusted next week.

Mac DTC? Wouldn't have thought so, that's only been testing for about a week is it?

The mac nserve beta is.

I think they are confusing issues by calling it nserve, but its a mac desktop application.

EDIT ... New Streaming software for the New-Year ...  gets a mention in the Naim magazine that dropped through my letterbox today. Not much in the way of detail though. I'm just presuming that it's streaming software 3.18 that I thought already shipped in the UnitiLite.
