Analog 4RCA 5Din Interconnect for Naim AV2

Posted by: SensationFreak on 31 December 2012

I need an analog interconnect to connect my DVD player to a Naim AV2 AV processor, so a pair of 4 RCA 5pin Din cables. Actually since I dont have rear speakers nor a center, and never will,  is itbetter soundwise to get a 4RCA 5Din cable for front and surround speakers + a RCA 5Din cable for the subwoofer?
Should the unused pins (3 on the second cable) be removed for better sound like Chord company is doing on some cables?
Now time to cook the turkey!

Why the use of an AV2 if you don't have plans for more than 2 channels?

I have of course surround speakers and and an active subwoofer and the AV2 is connected to a stereo system (552 and 500) and the surrounds are powered by V175.

I think the OP is speaking from 7.1 perspective, so he has front l/r, surround l/r but no rear (back) l/r or centre.
