Bitrate Differences on CD's ripped in ALAC.

Hi all,

Just ripping a few more cd's and i have noticed that some CD's ripped bitrates are different to others.

I thought they would all be ripped the same?

There is a certain level of compression (please note, compression, not reduction) involved. Depending on the complexity of the data the (visible) bit rate will differ.

I have just ripped a Friendly Fires CD and its ripped at 1033!!!
