NAP V175 discontinued?

I was looking for info on V175 but could not see it listed. Only V145 can be found.

Yep - gone. I think it went around the same time as the rest of their AV range, which included the n series speakers, (n-Sat, n-Sub, n-Cent) as well as the AV2 processor.

Nice unit, if you can find one.

Managed to pick up a decent second hand unit from a UK dealer last year and it has really improved the quality of the sound coming from the centre and rear speakers compared to a Pioneer AV receiver.

Now demoing an Oppo 105 wired directly into the V175 and Nait XS using the Oppo's built-in preamp feature rather than an external processor.

I'm after a 175 for Av duties and will set up my Oppo in a similar manner to yours bypassing my Denon AVR 3807.  How are you finding the Oppo 105?  I have had mine a couple of weeks now and enjoying it more and more as I use it.

Still breaking it in as under a week old. Initial impressions are of a very clean, detailed sound particularly dialogue. Even Bane's dialogue from TDKR was intelligible! Not sure if it's a little too forward though for me, another few weeks demoing will tell...

By a strange coincidence, I watched that film last knight!

Strange.......according to the product history page the NAP175 is still a current product.

+2.

I was all set to go for a Pioneer AV unit a few years ago but a Naim dealer advised me to look out for a used AV2/175 combo to go with my 2 channel instead. Glad i did as it sounds great driving n-Sats on the rears and an n-Cent for centre duties.
