Hopefully used by interested bikers of the leather clad type (rather than the Lycra), no offence.
Here goes with an earlier bike I used, but now sold on
If anyone fancies a quick ride around the forests or other precarious zones.
The montessa cota
The Benelli 750 six cylinder
The widest bike of it's time
I remember it Paul!
The good old fashioned BSA bantam
They look like Matchbox toys but this is another shot from the Barber Museum.
Another Barber item but I used to see this actual bike in Sports Motorcycles in Manchester, just off Deansgate. We used to ride out there and ogle at the Ducati's and H-D's in the showroom. It's strange to think that it's now thousands of miles away in the US. Ironic also that Hailwood was killed in a car crash one night when he nipped out to the shops. Sad loss.
Anyone remember this one. I wonder whatever happened to his lordship ?

Thats a fab image, would love to spend day in that museum

Great looking bike. Mike H was a class rider !
Close up of front disc, the brake pipe looks rather tight, not sure it will cope with turning the forks if it wa ridden

Is that a Hesketh?
If so, I think there were problems with the rear cylinder overheating due to lack of air flow
How about this. 721,000 miles, only one owner.

I went on one of Stuart Jenkinson's tours back in the late 80's. We toured the Alps, covering about 2500 miles in two weeks. It was just before the fall of the Berlin wall and I remember going through Eastern Austria & Yugoslavia (as it was) and how it felt like we were going fifty years back in time. Stuart was (is) quite a character. The highlight of the tour had to be the Stelvio Pass. Bloody hard work though.
Redmires,
Had a look at the link. Vincent black prince is not a model I am familiar with, I only really know he black shadow
Not a big chopper fan, but thats one hell of a back tyre
Same here about choppers. I do like concept or futuristic bikes though.
Redmires,
pretty impressive picture. is this intended to be a 2WD bike in the same vein as a 4WD car?
is fo then you would expect to see chunky tyres?
nice looking beast though whatever it is

Probably more intended to be 2WD so that the front doesn't have a tendency to wash out under cornering rather than for muck-chugging... No?
its not road legal (no lights)
It's a sunny weekend. Which one do I take out for a spin ?
Decisions, decisions ....
Nice, especially in a colour other that Ferrari red
Nice Tony. Is it one of the Russian jobs?
Urals?
Saw this one parked in my street a while ago and I think your're right. Apparently you can get a brand new one , on the road, for the princely sum of £10.500. Bargain!
Lots of cool concept renders here..... http://solifdesign.blogspot.co.uk/
I especially liked this one....
Very retro !
The colour scheme looks familiar ( green and gold)?
