Motorbike photos

Ok guys (and gals), a few people have suggested starting a thread showing forum members motorbikes.

Hopefully used by interested bikers of the leather clad type (rather than the Lycra), no offence.

Here goes with an earlier bike I used, but now sold on

Full ahead,

Your comment on handling, is that linked to the bike crash that ended your marine career?

No that was some bastard in a car that drove out in front of me.Wrecked me and wrecked my 9 day old Honda VFR 750 4. Wife told me I was an ex biker and the Merchant Navy doctor told me I was an ex seagoing engineer. Hifi was the only thing left.

Nice set of bikes you have had there. My choice of the ones listed would be the VFR

Hope you didnt have too many injuries ( but it must have been bad enough if it ended your seafaring career)

Cbr, Had a broken shoulder ,dislocated right ankle but the worst was my left ankle and foot. When the prang came I did'nt get off cleanly.Left foot went up thru the gear lever or the fairing bracket. Almost ripped off ,ankle bone and lots of little bones shattered. Doc said amputation was about 50/50. However made a good recovery ,back at the mechanical engineering 2 years later. This time on dry land.

Fence jump was clearly filmed with a different bike. A modern (for the time) motocross bike, I believe.

Great movie though.
