I sat under one of those doughnut shaped storms for an hour or so on a beach miles from anywhere in Senegal - soaking wet was an understatement & wet 100mph windblown sand hurts; thank goodness we had not pitched the tents.
It was spectacular when it passed out to sea, it was late afternoon & the setting sun behind made a picture that would have been to die for
