Not a piece of chainsaw p.p.e. in site!

I'm a countryside conservation volunteer.

We use various size of Stihl. We had a Husqvarna, which is a little quirky, but worked it to death.

I personally have a McCulloch 438, but will buy a Stihl in future.

I have a CS30.1/2, CS31 chainsaw operators ticket.

The first things I bought after qualifying were safety shoes, trousers, gloves and visor.

A guy in Sheffield recently beheaded his wife accidently with one of these things. She should have been at least 15m away.

Wonder how many people with domestic chainsaws use p.p.e.

If she had been 15m away he'd have just moved closer....
