Well done for finding that Graham - it is just bloody annoying when (like me) you are a big fan and have ordered it weeks ago from a Proper site "connected" with the artist at the full retail!

Once again, Amazon comes up trumps for the punter.

Looking forward to it.

Me too and another e-mail for the CD. Less than 2 weeks before the first of RT's two shows we are seeing.

My copy arrived today and I have just played it from end to end. Everything about it is superb; songs, performance and pressing. All for the bargain price of £11.87. Many thanks for the heads up; this one will get a lot of play here and will feature in the best of 2013 without any doubt. If I like a record this much on one hearing then it usually is a gem.

I just realised I got the 2CD version for £10 - £2.99 (surprise) and the LP for £11.87 (known).

Several thumbs up from the Crawley jury.

You mischievous bugger!

I doubt the 180g will be warped. On the other hand 50g of it doesn't need to be there.

Has anyone managed to download the MP3 copy yet? I can't, the 'puter just says "Sending request" & hangs. Not terribly bothered but it'd be nice to have an iPod copy.

On Tuesday evening they're filming a RT BBC4 "Sessions" gig at TV Centre which I shall be going along to. Apparently much of the set will consist of "Electric" stuff. The gig is part of a series of filmed shows BBC4 is doing to ay goodbye to Television Centre.

Yes.

Type in the www.procards.com/downloads  address and enter the PIN number (no spaces) on your voucher card. (Hope I'm not breaking any rules, quoting this address)

Press "Submit".

Download the required tracks, or all of the tracks. It can be done as a zip file.

I used the zip file way.

It won't let me repeat the process since I've already downloaded them.

Did you try the zip file way and unzip it?  It may be easier on the computer.

I've put the code in and gotten onto the Electric download screen. The tracks are listed, and at the top it says "Download all media in a zip file" but there's nothing to select.

At the bottom of the screen it says "Sending request" & there's something trying to load but it just stays like that. I can't select tracks or anything else, save the Procards main site.

On the RHS of the "Download all media in a zip file" there should be a "Download" button.

Click on this.

Because I've already downloaded the tracks this and the individual track download buttons are greyed out.

OK Graham, cracked it. For some strange reason, using Google Chrome to access the site doesn't reveal the download tabs. I've just tried again with Safari & they've magically appeared!

Thanks for your help (Blasted 'puters!)

Well done.

Coincidentally I use Safari, but standard Google as the home page.

Very strange as you say.

Same here not working in Chrome but OK with Safari, it took 2 attempts.

It's a good record, but why is it recorded so bloomin' LOUD. Whatever happened to dynamic range?

Posted on: 17 February 2013 by Steve J

It's recorded analogue for the vinyl.

I ordered from Amazon UK because of the attractive price, now wish I held off as like you say it's loud.  Very disappointed!
