I'm the fat baby at the back.

The Triplet is now fully restored and being used to raise money for charity. Originally built in the late 20s, it weighs a huge amount and could really get significant (dangerous) speed going downhill with three adults on it...

Two of whom had to trust the third implicitly!

Rod, was the bike custom built for you ?

Looks like you had good fun in the old days, and lots of fresh air

Tell me your joking?

Are you really the original owners of the "goodie" bike?

That was my post, not Rod.

Here's a couple from me though.

My first hi-fi. Circa 1982 when I still lived with my parents. Creek 4040 amp, Rega 3 (under the homemade dustcover) NAD tuner, Aiwa double cassette deck & Kef Coda's.

And me and a friend around the same time. Oh for the frivolity of youth ...

Redmires,
I can only see first photo of the hifi.

Nothing embarrassing there, all the stuff you referenced was great kit in its time. Never owned the creek, but had a Great reputation.
I also had Nad, rega and aiwa. Great gear from my memory

Kitted out by Network Rail and taken to the top of the Forth railway bridge during its last repaint.

Of course it could be anybody inside that kit.

Me, May '81, RAF Swinderby, pass out parade. I didn't have a chest in those days, unsurprisingly, at 6ft 1in and 147lb!

Tony,

Good photo, it's amazing how as young people weseem to be able to eat anything and not put on any weight, and clothes seem to hang off you !

Now though, a different story !

Hi fi pic - not embarrassed about the kit, but maybe it's location. Sat on a wobbly wall unit with the speaker blocked in by the sofa etc.

Here's the 2nd pic again .... you asked for it !
