Long awaited new album from one of the greats - arrived in the post this morning from Amazon. Always known for great production and sound quality 'Memphis' is a belter. Recorded in Willie Mitchells old studio with some originals and some very well selected oldies - it has Ray Parker Junior and Willie Weeks in the band - plus a track with Keb Mo and Charlie Musselwhite.
All great but check our his version of Tony Joe Whites ' Rainy Night In Georgia' and the Moments 'Love on a two way street'
Simply sublime and a treasure for all Naim lovers

Thanks for the heads up Barry, I'll definitely be buying it.
He 's certainly underrated, in the UK at least. Most people only associate him with Lido Shuffle, but he's released some excellent albums, Fade into light and Dig are must top notch.

Just waiting for my vinyl copy to arrive from the States. I am now really looking forward to it!

Indeed Barry, a must-have in my book, I ordered it yesterday. A superb singer-songwriter who deserves far more recognition than he gets here. His last release, "Dig", is a smashing recording to boot.

Been listening to this over the W/E, like very much.
Didn't care much for his jazz voice on the last couple of albums, this is a great return to form. Wonderful dirty, juke joint feel on a couple of tracks. Gonna take 'my time' with this one.

Superb in places with a couple of light trax but as the others say a return to form.
