Sporadic Uniti network issues

I'm running twonky on my mac with a QNAP TS-219P NAS drive streaming audio and video. Mac can pick up the NAS fine, but the Uniti often can't. Once it has (seemingly randomly) made the connection it works fine for a while until it drops off - it then takes lots fo scanning, re-scanning, leaving it a week etc etc until it finds it again. Any ideas as to what is going on? Uniti is in a cupboard in the same smallish room as the NAS (Mac is upstairs in a different room). Really frustrating, the whole set up only works once in a blue moon!

Not sure this will help, but I have had similar experiences but after taking advice from the forum mine seems to have been resolved.

Wired network seems best.

Using a separate switch for qute and NAS also helps

Reserving an IP address on the NAS & Qute on the router towards the upper range of those available seems to take them away from being allocated elsewhere

After having done all this it is many months since I had those issues.

Hope that helps, but my tech skills are limited and others may have better responses.
