So, 3,000 people can't accept other people's sense of humour, the balance of the other 12.2 million viewers aren't bothered it seems. And like the event, or not, it raised £75m for those less fortunate than others.

FFS isn't it time to stop pandering to the insignificant minority..?

Where do I complain about people making complaints?

Yes, those that take offence when no intend to offend was present, sometimes seem self-serving to me. (B.T.W. saying "no offence intended" doesn't count. It is a common accompaniment to  offensive and deliberate behaviour, such as telling offensive jokes.)

A classic example of ridiculous over-reaction however, is a women's football team at the Olympics who were so "offended" that the wrong flag had accidentally been shown that they delayed the game for over a hour. For what real reason? What outcome did they expect? It is completely irrational. Fortunately however, because it was women's football no spectators were inconvenienced.

By coincidence the only bit of the program I saw was Rowen Atkinson (channel surfing), Had to switch it of after a minute or two, not offended at all, he just wasn't funny. Not changed his act for 25 years.

There's no way of knowing if the 12 million watching thought Atkinson was funny. Most of the viewers probably only watched the program for the really top class comedians such as Russel Brand.

Fortunately I have no televisor, so missed the whole thing! And yet I suspect missed nothing worth sweating over!

But our local Costcutter [Lowesmoor] did a marvelous act, and I was one who could not but donate on the basis of their particularly entertain Cabaret.
