unitiqute as a source

Can i use a unitiqute as a source on my Pass Labs XP-10 pre amp?

When i connect the pre amp out of the qute on the pass and select that input on the pass, can i use the i-Stream app to configuer the volume knob?

Whearas the pass volume knob is on about 11:00 or 20

Or will this DAC section in the qute to less for my pass set? And will i have to go for a ND5xs or NDX?

Hi Robbert

I think I can answer your first couple of questions.

You can use the Qute as a source - in the set-up menus you just need to set Speakers to None.  The nStream app will control the Qute's volume.

Give it a try to see what it sounds like.

I would like to buy a source with al the control of the n-Stream app. And also the volume control in it. I had a superuniti and that had it all. Now i'm looking for a solution like the superuniti but with my pass labs set up.

I don't have the qute jet.

Will the DAC in the qute have the potential to get the best out internet radio/TV/NAS/apple TV3 ( all digital connected off course )

So when i put the volume knob on about 11:00  on my pass labs pre amp, i select the input where the qute is connected. Then i can control everything with the n-Stream app. Also the volume??

Or will there be a better solution as i know as far with the qute. Does the ND5xs of NDX has a volume control in it? Or other equipment??
