N-serve App - Memory issues on iOS 6.1.2

Posted by: HG on 31 March 2013

Hi,

There seems to be an issue with the iPhone N-serve app.

The problem is that actual tracks are not selectable until one has cleared the iPhone memory by double clicking the start button and then double clicking each app that is memory to remove them from the memory.

After this the app seems to work normally until the memory buffer overfills again.

This is issue is only occurring in iOS 6 and only with the iPhone version. The iPad version is not affected and works well.

I hope this is an issue that Naim will look into with some urgency. I am one of the few who actually bought the app when it was first published by Naim and before it became free of charge.

Thanks!

Hey Henrik,

sofar I haven't received the issue on an iPad nor iPhone. You might want to clear the UpnP cache. Can be found in the settings of the app.

I have been using io6 and nserve for a long time now, and never expeienced this issue !

May be a local problem and not Naim related

I haven't encountered this problem either on my up to date iPhone.

Clearing the cache as Iver mentioned does help from time to time.

Hi everybody, Thanks for sharing your experience and input. It led me to conclude that it must be an iOS issue. I therefore decided to go ahead with a full wipe of my iPhone 4S and a fresh reinstall of iOS 6.1.3. It seems to have worked and the memory overflow, which was quite severe and seemed to get worse by the day has not reoccurred. Happy listening to all! Henrik
