Stu,

Only ordered yesterday, I'll let you know. I saw the 5* review in 'Uncut' and was going to buy the CD, until I saw this combo.

Denis,

I have had a listen to it and taken a punt.

At that price for the double vinyl and CD its got to be worth it.

Cheers,

Stu.

Andy,

A brilliant album.

My sons original vinyl copy long since played out.

I bought the 4 180g disc deluxe limited edition a couple of years back.2741 of 3000.

It has 32 tracks includes B-sides, remixes and previously unreleased tracks on it.

If you can find a copy ?I WOULD GRAB IT.

I have seen it around Stu, but it ain't cheap. That is why I went for the original copy, really glad I did, it's a fantastic album.

Any of his other albums worth a punt?

Andy.

The only answer i can give to that question? is all of them.

They are all good and all a bit diff.

I would try Sea Change and Guero next for deffo.

Richter Plays Beethoven: Variations Op.34, 35 & 76.

The first time I listened to a MHS ( musical Heritage Society ) vinyl. Surprisingly it sounds wonderful in spite it was recorded by Melodiya which normally their records do not sound that great.

There is a faint bleed through on this record but genearlly clean and clear. Since there aren't many *High fidelity* Richter recordings, I consider this reocrd is plenty good.

Hope it is as good as the CD
