Arrived today in the post:
David Ramirez - Fables. Great album.
Sokolov
Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1
Ordered but "Temporarily out of stock" so I am not so sure if this will result in me getting an LP or not?
Alfred Brendel (piano) | Claudio Abbado
Schumann Piano Concerto Op. 54 | Weber: Concert Piece Op. 79
Their newie, released a couple of weeks ago:
My new reference in SQ from Vinyl:
Close behind, but not that dynamik:
Also good SQ in a limited, numberd edition:
Mephisto from Reference Records is quite impressive, I love it!
I love the music on the e.s.t. 4LP set but the sound quality is not up to the same level as the music quality, still it sounds good and I would never miss it
Broadcast, Tender Buttons (2005):
That's right, it's Jack White, doing a cover of "You Are The Sunshine of My Life" with the Muppets. On a 7" single. I just could not resist.
Aww now I'm jealous.
Jack White, Would You Fight For My Love? - 7" single on Third Man:
Mr White again, also on Third Man 7" - Black Bat Liquorice:
Avishai Cohen- Into Silence
Ahmad Jamal- Saturday Morning
Brad Mehldau- Blues and Ballads
Jennifer Warrens- Famous Blue Raincoat
Haskil/Grumiaux- Mozart 4 Sonaten
Not bad because I think about leaving vinyl ;-)))
On order after listing to:
Just released and my incentive to visit the record shop today.
Bachman–Turner Overdrive's debut from 1973. An early pressing still clean and glossy for $3.
I already have a nice early pressing of this but the 2014 remasters used Plangent Processing and I'm curious whether there's anything special to be heard from it. This was half-price so a good opportunity to see how the new vinyl compares.
Just grabbed this 2LP prerelease, supposed to release on June7.
