Great album Richard, another is taking it to the streets by the Doobies, first album with Mike McDonald and Jeff skunk Baxter.
Did RSD yesterday. I’m reluctant as it’s a big hassle and can be frustrating, especially as there’s no independent record store in Milton Keynes and I’ve had to go to London. However there is now Black Circles in Leighton Buzzard, so I drove over there. Still queueing to get in and pay, but I was happy to pick up the following while resisting other temptations.
Grateful Dead, Fillmore West 69
Pink Floyd, 1st mono
Dirty Three, Whatever You Love, You Are
Neil Young, Roxy, 73
Clive
Chet Baker - She Was Good to Me on CTI Records -1974
Went to Piccadilly Records in Manchester yesterday afternoon. Picked up some Rsd 2018 stuff.
Eno/Shields 12”, Sparks pic disc 7”, Wire 9x 7” Box Set, Bowie Blackout & Van Morrison Moondance alternate LP.
Advantage was straight up to counter and paid for items. Disadvantage they had sold out of David Sylvian, Arthur Lee & Love and Neil Young Live at Roxy. I’m happy and Neil Young is being released soon anyway.
Erased Tapes 1+1=x, 3 LPs box set, should arrive next days. Love this label, they have great artists under contract. This box set is limited 1000 copies only.
Spiritual Jazz Japan #8, pt1+2
hope my LP12 is back from service for Lingo 4 upgrade soon ...
Simon & Garfunkel - The Concert In Central Park
Double LP bought from local charity shop yesterday - £3.99.
The new HMHB LP inc CD pre ordered for May 18 release.
Michael Garrick ‘Prelude to Heart is a Lotus’ with Don Rendell and Ian Carr. My third MG album of the day but first on vinyl. 1968 recording built on Duke Ellington but with snippets of things to come. The guy just oozes creativity.
Oh and ‘Jazz on the Corner’. A good compilation, notwithstanding the preposterous (or is it ironic) cover art. But... if I recall, someone commented on the lack of anti-stat sleeves. I should have paid more attention. My TT plinth isn’t best pleased and neither are my speakers. Shocking (how could it end otherwise). ????
SAM DEES: The Show must Go On. 1975. near mint copy at discogs. fantastic soul music piece, great discovery!

I have to say that this really is an excellent reissue right down to the cover which is beautifully reproduced by Analogue Productions.
Brand new, sealed copy (OK, it was a cutout with the corner cut off) of Arlyn Gale's "Back to the Midwest Night", from 1978. Only 6 bucks on ebay - cheaper than when it was new in 1978!
