It's not his strongest album but I just love the 'Before Long' and wanted to hear it on vinyl for once.

Who would have thought that Mr Jackson would have been so good at singing the  ******* Blues!

Also just pre-ordered the following - heard a couple of tracks and it sounds superb

I do of course mean Samuel L and not Michael, not sure he ever used the ***** phrase in any of his songs...except perhaps 'Say Say Say'

As above I like the Kate Bush album except for the title track

(can't get on with Fry),
but I bought this at the same time and I think it is even better

A good  sounding Zep set, that makes a change. I am assuming the song has actually changed then?

Which particular distributer/maker is this one?

I broke a golden rule of mine the other day - never buy an album with more than two lp's - I know from experience that I will rarely if ever listen to them due to sheer mass of choice.  So I went and bought Tom Petty's live album - Live Anthology - all seven lp's of it!!  Goodness knows when I'll get round to cranking up the record player for this lot!

T,

You are having a laugh?

I have this set on vinyl and cd and they are both shite SQ.

As are the Mother Ship vinyl and cd box sets that came out around the same time.

Then I'm guessing you probably missed out on the great Japanese set of Thelonious Monk Complete Riverside Recordings, all 22 LPs worth.
